This pair has no available route

None of the venues Smartable asks could offer that trade at that moment. It is a fact about liquidity and routes, not a fault in your wallet — change the amount or one side of the pair, or ask again later.

Smartable does not run its own exchange. It asks several third-party venues for a price and shows each answer as an offer, naming the venue. You choose which offer to take — none is chosen for you.

When no venue can offer the trade, there is nothing to show, and the wallet says so rather than inventing a quote.

What the message tells you

  • This pair has no available route. None of the venues Smartable asks connects these two assets on these networks.
  • No provider could price this trade. The venues were asked, and none of them could price it this time.
  • No provider could route this trade right now. The networks are connected, so a different amount or another attempt may work.
  • This quote expired. Offers are valid for a short time. Ask for fresh ones and review them again — nothing was sent.

What usually fixes it

  • Try a different amount. Thin liquidity prices small trades and refuses large ones, and some routes have a minimum.
  • Change one side. Go through a major asset — sell into the network's coin or a large stablecoin first, then into what you wanted.
  • Wait, and ask again. Routes come and go with liquidity and with venue outages.
  • Check the token. A token with no market anywhere cannot be priced by anyone.

If balances and prices are missing too, not only swap offers, the cause is different — see not available where I am.

Why the wallet does not show a route that might work

A quote you cannot execute is worse than no quote. It leads to a transaction that fails after the network fee is spent. The refusal is the wallet declining to spend your money on a guess.

What the app shows

  • “This pair has no available route.”
  • “No provider could price this trade.”
  • “No provider could route this trade right now. These networks are connected, so a different amount or another attempt may work.”
  • “This quote expired. Get a fresh one.”

Security note

Never share your recovery phrase, private key, password or device PIN. Smartable will never ask for them or ask you to sign a transaction to “verify” or “recover” your wallet.
